What can the SC600 do?
- It finds the center of studs up to 38 mm deep;
- locates metal up to 76 mm deep;
- non-ferrous metal (copper, lead, aluminum, zinc) up to 36 mm;
- detects live wires up to 50 mm deep.
- Gives a warning for “false positives,” such as plastic pipes. This allows drains and plastic pipes to be found as well.
This digital scanner has high reliability thanks to ACT auto-correction technology. Using this technology, it checks the calibration 10 times per second and corrects the measurement if necessary.
The METOFIX SC600 digital scanner operates on a 9V battery.
